Basketball Recap: Wood Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Wood faced off against Tokay on Wednesday. The Wood Wildcats received a blow as they fell 63-46 to the Tokay Tigers. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Tokay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Shoneff, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Habib Khan, who had 13 points.

Wood's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Tokay, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Wood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-59 defeat against Rodriguez on the 17th. Tokay has also already played their next game, a 71-65 loss against McNair on the 17th.
