            Volleyball Recap: Valle Catholic Warriors vs. St. Vincent Indians        
        
		
        
        
            Valle Catholic was the  3-0 winner over St. Vincent when they last played one another  back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors came up short against  the Indians on Monday, falling  3-0.
 Valle Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-21,  25-20.

 Despite the  defeat, Valle Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Reece Weiler  had 17  assists and six  digs. Weiler is  on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's  now  posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
  Paige Leible was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had 15  digs. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 10.2  digs per game.
Valle Catholic's loss  ended  a  three-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-2-1. As for St. Vincent, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5-1.
 Valle Catholic has already played their next match,  a  3-0  victory against Fredericktown on the 23rd. As for St. Vincent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-2  win against Advance on the 24th.
