Murray is a perfect 10-0 against Highland since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Murray will be strutting in after a win while Highland will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Murray earned a 7-2 victory over Judge Memorial Catholic. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Brody Sofonia was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Meanwhile, Highland lost 10-2 to Timpview on Friday. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Taylor Saunders was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Highland dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Murray, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Murray got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 against Highland by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
