Baseball Recap: Wake Prep Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against NCSSM: Durham

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wake Prep Academy). Everything went their way against the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-3 victory. With that win, the Guardians brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Branden Sigman looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit.

On the hitting side, Garrett Watkins was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Nathaneal Martin also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
