Kaz Crotts commands the offense for a Warriors win

Recap: Lamar Warriors vs. Maumelle Charter Falcons

The Maumelle Charter Falcons typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Lamar Warriors proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 68-50. Winning may never get old, but Lamar sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lamar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaz Crotts led the charge by scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Noonan, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Lamar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Maumelle Charter, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

Lamar will take on Central Arkansas Christian at 7:00 a.m. on Friday. Central Arkansas Christian is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Maumelle Charter, they will square off against Baptist Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Baptist Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Maumelle Charter is ranked 113th).
