Pamlico County had won two straight games and Dakota Schmidt did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Hurricanes blew past the Southside Seahawks 3-0 with plenty of help from Schmidt, who had 17 assists and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-8.

Pamlico County now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Southside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
