Given Holliday's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Wichita Falls is ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Keitenn Bristow was on fire: he scored 32 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cayden Howard, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
Holliday's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Wichita Falls, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
