Nolin Santillan was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Clovis West is 6-3 when he allows at most one walk, but 9-11 otherwise. Santillan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run.
