Basketball Recap: St. Teresa Comes Up Short

St. Teresa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans, falling 70-45. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while the Spartans are ranked 109th).

St. Teresa's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

When St. Teresa and St. Joseph-Ogden next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. St. Teresa will square off against Argenta-Oreana and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, St. Joseph-Ogden will try to stop Bloomington Central Catholic's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
