Basketball Recap: Otsego Comes Up Short

Otsego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 64-41 to the Paw Paw Red Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 480th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 65th).

Otsego's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Paw Paw, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Otsego will be playing at home against Parchment at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Parchment will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Otsego surely won't give up without a fight. As for Paw Paw, they will challenge Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
