Volleyball Recap: Okawville Rockets vs. Marissa/Coulterville Meteors
Okawville extended their postseason success on Thursday against Marissa/Coulterville. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors. The win was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on three straight.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Okawville who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.
Okawville found their leader in sophomore Kenley Hackstadt, who had eight digs and 17 assists.
Okawville pushed their record up to 12-24 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Marissa/Coulterville, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-14.
