Basketball Game Preview: Larned Indians vs. Smoky Valley Vikings

The Larned Indians will take on the Smoky Valley Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Larned is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Larned ended up a good deal behind Hoisington and lost 60-43.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 67 points the game before, Smoky Valley was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Pratt 66-25. The Vikings have struggled against the Greenbacks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Smoky Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Larned, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Larned came up short against Smoky Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 42-34. Can Larned avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
