Volleyball Recap: Morgan Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Morgan entered their tilt with Ben Lomond on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Scots with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Morgan was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-16.

Morgan can attribute much of their success to Caleb Stephens, who had 13 digs. That's the most digs Stephens has posted over his last three matchups. Reed Caldwell also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Morgan's record now sits at 7-8. As for Ben Lomond, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Morgan will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ogden at 6:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Ben Lomond, they will take on Box Elder in a tournament on Saturday.
