Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Laurence walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Montini Catholic Broncos on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won nine in a row.

St. Laurence's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Montini Catholic, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-17.

Coming up, St. Laurence will take on Providence Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Celtics will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Montini Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
