Volleyball Game Preview: Palm Grove Christian Gators vs. Venice Indians

The Palm Grove Christian Gators will head out on the road to square off against the Venice Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Palm Grove Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Winthrop College Prep Academy.

Palm Grove Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Venice got the win against Gulf Coast H on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the HEAT: they've now won eight in a row.

Venice was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-19.

Palm Grove Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Venice, their record now sits at 9-1.
