Volleyball Recap: Eureka Takes a Loss

Eureka had lost three straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped down to 12-16 to make it four. They fell 2-0 to the North RedHawks. The Tornadoes were not able to make up for their loss to the RedHawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Ellianna Coulter paced Eureka's offense, picking up five kills. Coulter got some help from Raylee Boles and her six assists. Arabella Shepherd controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-15. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 4-22 Lyons and 12-16 Eureka.

North found their leader in sophomore Saige Fisher, who had 12 assists and four digs.

Eureka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lyons on the 11th. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Circle on the 11th.
