Baseball Game Preview: Broad Run Spartans vs. John Champe Knights

John Champe hit Broad Run with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

For John Champe's part, Trevor Casad tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched.
