When it comes to explaining why Geneva lost, don't look at Chahino. Despite the final result, he threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score. Talyn Taylor also helped out as he racked up 116 receiving yards.
East St. Louis' record now sits at 13-1. As for Geneva, they moved to 12-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
