Basketball Recap: Berkshire Takes a Loss

Berkshire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Geneva Eagles. The Badgers were probably out for revenge after losing 63-59 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Berkshire's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Geneva, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Berkshire will host Wickliffe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wickliffe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Geneva, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Geneva Eagles face off against the Jefferson Area Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson Area will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Geneva surely won't give up without a fight.
