Game recap

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the second quarter, Hemet (Calif.) led 7-0 at the half.

The Bulldogs expanded their lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. Hemet scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Justice Judge to Chad Norton.

Beaumont's only touchdown came on a 51-yard pass from Jacob Ulibarri to Kris Robinson in the fourth quarter.

HHS has struggled this season, allowing 30.5 points per game. However, Hemet's defense dug in and limited Beaumont (Calif.) above its season average of 4.6 points per game.

The win was a nice bounce back for Hemet, which lost to Citrus Hill last week, 59-28.

Beaumont (0-9) will play a Mountain Pass game against Tahquitz next week, while Hemet (4-5) will take on San Jacinto also in a Mountain Pass game.
