The Bishop McNamara Mustangs will take on the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Bishop McNamara put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They never let Southern Maryland Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. With that victory, Bishop McNamara brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.

Isabella Webb made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Christina Brown, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaslyne Ivey, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Giselle Reyes was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Mackrell, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Our Lady of Good Counsel's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Bishop McNamara, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.
