Soccer Recap: Woodside Comes Up Short

Woodside's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Warwick Raiders. Woodside were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Warwick apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Woodside and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1. As for Warwick, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodside will welcome Hampton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodside will be up against Hampton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.64 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Warwick, they will square off against Booker T. Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
