Baseball Recap: Eagle's View Comes Up Short

Eagle's View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Ridgeview Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in February.

Eagle's View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Montgomery, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Eagle's View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Ridgeview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's View will host Stanton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeview, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Fleming Island at 7:00 p.m. Fleming Island will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
