Jefferson-Morgan entered their tilt with Chartiers-Houston on Monday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering the Rockets have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

John Woodward made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Deakyn DeHoet was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Jefferson-Morgan's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Chartiers-Houston, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
