Football Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-6, which was the final score in the Burbank Titans's tilt against the Placer Hillmen on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly 36 points.

Placer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Danny Sanchez-Harlow, who rushed for 57 yards and one score on only six carries, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and one touchdown. The Hillmen also got help from Keilin Beverage, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Burbank and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Placer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burbank will host Santa Rosa at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Placer, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Del Campo at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The Hillmen will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
