Smyrna's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 73-59 bruising from Stewarts Creek.
Despite the defeat, Smyrna had strong showings from Ze'keice Mccarver, who scored 16 points along with two steals, and Jalylle Batey-roberts, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mccarver has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyreque Mccarver, who scored 11 points along with six assists.
Lebanon suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Stewarts Creek by a score of 69-66. Lebanon just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Smyrna has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
