Basketball Recap: Lompoc Takes a Loss

If Lompoc was feeling good fresh off their 68-33 takedown of Morro Bay on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves were beaten by the Nevada Union Miners 73-43 on Thursday. The Braves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Miners from their previous meeting back in December of 2017.

Lompoc now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Nevada Union, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Lompoc won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hilmar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nevada Union, they and Santa Ynez will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
