Soccer Game Preview: Christopher vs. Westmont

The Christopher Cougars will face off against the Westmont Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Christopher fell victim to Willow Glen and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 5-0. Considering the last time the Cougars couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Westmont also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Palo Alto by a score of 1-0 back in December of 2024. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Vikings are ranked 55th).

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-3. As for Westmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
