Volleyball Recap: Saint Francis Catholic Academy Has No Trouble Against Hamilton County + How To Watch

Saint Francis Catholic Academy won the last time they faced Hamilton County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Saint Francis Catholic Academy was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-9.

Morgan Ritten continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, getting 18 aces and five digs. Those 18 aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Rosado, who had eight aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Saint Francis Catholic Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 34 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matches.

Saint Francis Catholic Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Hamilton County, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

After both having extra time off, Saint Francis Catholic Academy and Countryside Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Fort White on the 18th.
