Recap: West Orange Warriors vs. Centennial Eagles

The West Orange Warriors and the Centennial Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the West Orange Warriors had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 58-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Leading Centennial to victory were Jailyn Williams and Jada Parson. Williams dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds, while Parson almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Parson has scored all season. Arianna Knapp was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

West Orange has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

West Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Centennial's road trip will continue as they head out to face Dr. Phillips at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. Dr. Phillips will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight.
