Windsor Charter Academy extended their road winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Dayton Long. The Firebirds took down the Denver Christian Thunder 79-60 on Saturday for which the team can thank Long, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 24 points.

Despite the loss, Denver Christian still got an impressive performance from Jayden Cain, who shot 79% from the field on his way to 25 points and five boards. Cain is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Luke DeBoer was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Windsor Charter Academy's record is now 3-0. As for Denver Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Windsor Charter Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-46 win against Summit on the 9th. As for Denver Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 69-59 victory against DSST: Cedar on the 9th.
