Providence Academy got themselves on the board against Life Way Christian on Tuesday, but Life Way Christian never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 9-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Abby Roy was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings pitched. Roy was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Camden Griggs was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Torrey Sanford, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Providence Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
