Basketball Game Preview: Western Pioneers vs. Orange Panthers

The Western Pioneers will face off against the Orange Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Western will be strutting in after a win while Orange will be coming in after a defeat.

Western is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Santa Ana Valley on Tuesday as Western made off with a 78-52 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Pioneers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Orange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were beaten by Segerstrom 60-33.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Western, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
