Softball Recap: Pittsburg Comes Up Short

Pittsburg managed to slip by North Lamar the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates lost 14-1 to the Panthers on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pittsburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chandler Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Pittsburg has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 2-13-1 record this season. As for North Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

As of now, neither Pittsburg nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
