Lake George has gone 9-1 against Granville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lakers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Golden Horde at 4:30 p.m.

Caroline Baker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Baker was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Ella Olsen was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Amaya Glinka was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Granville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Lake George's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Granville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
