Alma came tearing into Tuesday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 45-37 win over the Twin River Titans. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Titans are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alma's victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2. As for Twin River, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
