Baseball Recap: Mastery's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mastery had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-6 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Burlington City Blue Devils 15-6. The Warrior's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Leudy Alcantara was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricardo Basilio, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Mastery kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

As for Burlington City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly nine runs.

On Burlington City's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Ohler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Looking ahead, Mastery will take on Medford Tech at 3:45 p.m. on the 14th. As for Burlington City, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Willingboro at 3:45 p.m.
