Baseball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Christian Brothers Academy faced off against Marlboro on Monday. The Colts came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 6-2. That's more bragging rights for the Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Christian Brothers Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Marlboro, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
