Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gill St. Bernard). They blew past the Delaware Valley Terriers 13-7 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Gill St. Bernard's, bringing their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Delaware Valley, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.

Delaware Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against South Hunterdon on the 23rd. Hopefully Gill St. Bernard's paid attention to the Terriers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Terriers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
