St. Michael Catholic strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 25-20 W against the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs. The 25-point effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

St. Michael Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gunner Rivers, who threw for 363 yards and three TDs while completing 78.4% of his passes. Noah Moss helped Rivers out on the ground, rushing for 109 yards and one touchdown, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.
