Soccer Recap: Wharton Comes Up Short

Wharton lost against Hallettsville back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wharton Tigers lost 6-1 to the Hallettsville Brahmas. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Wharton has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. Hallettsville's win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wharton will head out to challenge Rice Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hallettsville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Palacios at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
