Football Preview: Jackson County Blue Devils vs. East Robertson Indians
After two games on the road, Jackson County is heading back home. They will welcome the East Robertson Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Jackson County is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Monterey on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. East Robertson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kason Young out in front who threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards. Caleb Mcneil was another key back, rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
East Robertson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.
