Softball Recap: Mary Walker Comes Up Short

Mary Walker and Darrington squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mary Walker had to settle for second. They came up short against the Loggers, falling 14-1. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Mary Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Darrington, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Mary Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Darrington, they will square off against Inchelium at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Loggers surely won't give up without a fight.
