Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sequoyah was the 75-74 winner over Riverwood when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs took a 76-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Chiefs still had to take the loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyson Sharper, who almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Bilal, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 19 points.

Sequoyah is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Riverwood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Sequoyah has already played their next game, a 91-77 win against River Ridge on the 9th. As for Riverwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-36 victory against Washington on the 6th.
