Baseball Recap: Forest City Takes a Loss

Forest City lost against Carbondale Area back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Foresters fell 7-4 to the Chargers. The Foresters' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Forest City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tj Collins, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those RBI were Collins' first of the season.

Forest City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carbondale Area, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Forest City and Carbondale Area will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the field. The Chargers will head out to face the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Foresters will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
