Softball Recap: Logan County Cougars vs. Franklin-Simpson Wildcats

It was a proper cat-fight when Logan County faced off against Franklin-Simpson on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-5. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Addison Cartas was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits.
