Basketball Recap: Mullin Comes Up Short

Mullin was the 44-41 winner over Brookesmith when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 42-41 to the Mustangs. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mullin's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Brookesmith, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Mullin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookesmith, they will venture away from home to face off against Oglesby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
