Basketball Recap: Northeast Early College Takes a Loss

Northeast Early College lost against Eastside Early College back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Northeast Early College Raiders took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastside Early College Panthers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Jakob Acosta, who went 10-for-18 en route to 21 points for Eastside Early College. Acosta's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ali Adams, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Northeast Early College's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Eastside Early College, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Northeast Early College wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-53 loss against Travis on the 11th. As for Eastside Early College, they have also already played their next contest, a 76-46 defeat against Davenport on the 17th.
