Norrix and Central are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Norrix will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Lakeview, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Knights put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 60-38 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norrix to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jakari Lipsey, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetruis Bennett, who earned 11 points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past St. Joseph with a 46-40 win. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Bearcats were down 25-8 in the second quarter.

The win got Central back to even at 1-1. As for Norrix, their record is now 2-0.

Norrix beat Central 75-67 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
