Basketball Recap: Miami Beach Takes a Loss

After flying high against Carol City last Wednesday, Miami Beach came back down to earth. The Miami Beach Hi-Tides fell to the IMater Charter Knights 33-29.

Miami Beach's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for iMater Charter, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Miami Beach will square off against Varela on Tuesday. As for iMater Charter, they will face off against Downtown Doral on February 6th. Downtown Doral's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so iMater Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them.
